I agree with the other reviewers that the best friend kidnapping Kiera puts one into disbelief about the storyline, but once you get past that, it does develop nicely. I do wish though that there were more interactions between the hero and heroine so that they had more chance of understanding each other's characters or seeing different facets. I realize it's a love at first sight, but still would have enjoyed more relationship building. Also, felt the world building could have been stronger if the men were more chivalrous.

Loved that the heroine was able to secure a more prominent position of responsibility towards the end and that she endeavored to expand her skills while stuck on the moon.
I love Lizzy Ford as an author - and once again she does not disappoint!!!

I love the way that Lizzy introduces us to the characters in the book -- Kiera and her friend, Evelyn. When Evelyn and her fiance are getting ready to move and go to his home, they kidnap Kiera and take her with. They think he lives somewhere else on earth - but it turns out that he lives in another galaxy all together. This story is short - and I don't write spoilers - but, it will totally keep you attention to the end!!!
Could not put down till the end ,traded the reviews ,before I bought this book ,and I just have to said this book kept my attention ,Love the ending ,only thing ,I would like more is if another book were written to let me know what happen ,with the sisters,who was the father of A ran youngest sister and what about A ran uncle , son going to earth to find his mate .I just hope there will another to go with this one,also will keira and her friend ...........over all I enjoyed reading this book and just as soon as I stop writing my thoughts on this book , will beginning reading Star kiss ,which is written by same person.........
In response to some of the less kind reviews, I found the main character's reactions to be appropriate; a kind of mixed shock and anger, some disbelief with fear of never returning home if she rocked the boat. Much like Kiera, it took me a minute to figure out what was actually happening. That is part of the mystery element that keeps us guessing.

I found Kiera to be a humorous and fun character that I enjoyed following. I enjoyed the world and alien development, well planned back stories, and how the information unraveled over time instead of an info dump.

More sci-fi than fantasy, it has enough magical element to blur the lines, which I love.

I read this book over a year ago, but just read it again in The Anshan Saga paperback. I like the story, the characters, and how this society works. I felt that the pushback between Kiera and the new society was real, but she is so different from her Earth self and her self on Anshan. I don't think she grew that much, that fast, unless her friend really was holding her back that much. I remember from my first time reading this book that I loved the outer space type story, and how Kiera's life-force will help heal the planet.
I would rate this more a 3.5... now for my review - First, with friends like Evelyn, who needs enemies? I cannot believe how selfish it was of her to just take Kiera without talking with her first. Especially somewhere where women have very few rights...talk about wrong. It is interesting how first impressions leave you thinking that she jumped from the fire into the frying pan that lands her married to a man she doesn't know, and yes, she did...amazing how that happens. I enjoyed the book, but was surprised that they could fall in love with him spending more time away from her than with her. I guess if you add a special bond between them that would help, but that is the only thing about the book, outside of the attitude of the men that women are second class citizens, that didn't sit well with me. I'm still a huge fan and I was interested enough to finish the book in a day.
When I read the description of this book I thought it sounded like a good sci-fi novel. I was totally wrong! This was AMAZING! I loved everything about this book. It was a bit rough in the beginning but if you push through you won't be able to put the book down. I would definitely recommend this AMAZINGLY FABULOUS book to anyone and everyone.

I just got to say that I could not get over the nerve of Korea's best friend! I absolutely HATED her throughout this whole book. I didn't really understand how if they were such good friends and were basically sisters, then how could she do that to Kiera!
Loved this book. Would like this to turn into a series just because I can't get enough. I personally didn't think there was a cliffhanger, but I would have liked an epilogue at the end.
