Had no idea what to expect; first time reading this author. Story kept evolving with turns, twists and curveballs, until the HEA (ufff, she had me worried for a moment)!!
Was a bit hesitant at first to read the book, as someone described it as a Christian novel. However, apart from going to church, and praying for good things to happen, the Christian aspect/influence is fairly limited, making it a lovely read for all of us that enjoy books with wounded heroes (and heroines) who deserve their happy ending!

Maggie and Jamie are the main characters in this christian love story. They have both lost somebody they loved dearly and never thought they could love again. Maggie's husband had been an organ donor and Jamie had been in an accident. They met when Maggie decided to get back into horseback riding. The author of Searching for Paul keeps your adrenalin flowing with the many surprising turn of events. This is one of those books that you have trouble putting down. I look forward to reading many more books from this author.
I love this author. Since she is such an accomplished writer with her story line and characters so well defined, she does not need to resort to smut, profanity, or graphic violence in order to captivate her reader. And captivated I was! "Searching for Paul" is a beautiful love story of second chances and new beginnings. Maggie and Jaime show us that life is for the living, and that it is good to continue to bravely live our lives with joy and happiness after tragedy and loss.
